Welcome to the parents section of our school website. It’s a great place to check out upcoming courses, classes and events and find out how you can get involved in St Anne’s!
Facebook : ‘St Anne’s Primary School Parents Page’
Our new Facebook Page is up and running. Check it out for information on upcoming events in our school and community.
We have set up a school garden!! There are seven raised beds which we need weeded, planted and maintained throughout the year.
If you would like to be involved in our school garden please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
Classes and Activities
We have lots of great classes for parents that run all year around (September to June) including art, flower arranging, first aid, art and craft, cookery and baking demos and story sacs . We also have a running and walking group that meet every Wednesday morning. keep an eye out on the website/Parent’s FB page/texts and notes home.
The school library will be open to Junior Infant, Senior Infant and First Class children with their parents each Tuesday morning at 8:50. Come along and choose up to three books for your child. Borrow a book to read to your child every night or get your child to read to you.
Half One Club
Our parents room is open every day from 1:30 for tea and coffee. If you have children to collect at 1:30 and then again at 2:30 you can come along and have a cup of tea while you wait.
Parental involvement is really important to us here in St Anne’s. In the past and present we have had parents involved in helping with: Paired reading, Maths for Fun, Science for Fun, Knitting and crafts, Organisation of the library, our Green schools committee, Christmas concert, the Sale of Work etc. This support is invaluable and greatly appreciated.
If you have a particular skill you would like to share within the school please let us know, as we always welcome new ideas from parents.
