We have had such a busy month of May and June. We celebrated summer and went on nature walks around the school to see the leaves and flowers blooming.
This is our classroom art for summer, it makes the room bright and colourful as we get ready for the summer holidays!
We learned all about magnets in Science and really enjoyed going fishing for magnets.. it was great fun!
We learned all about length. We calculated the length of our books, tables, window sills and radiators, but the most fun was calculating the distance from our room to the AISTEAR room.. this was great!
We also had a fantastic day for Grandparents day and it was lovely to see all the grannies and granddads coming into our class to hear stories from the children and answer all the questions they were asked. Thank you! All the children made beautiful books for their grandparents and it was displayed in the Senior Hall.
We had a very exciting day at Zoom Playcentre and Glenroe Farm at our school tour. All the children had a fantastic day and really enjoyed their time on the farm. Have a look at our adventures…!
We have had a great year in Senior Infants. All the children have worked so hard! Have a lovely summer and look forward to going in to First Class!!
